For assistance with Registration,
Welcome to the Methow Valley Youth Baseball registration!
Our league is afflicated with Cal Ripken League and so for the 2017 season we are using their web portal. We hope the new registration process is easy to navigate and works for all needs.
This year we will have three age bracket groups, similar to last year, including T-ball, minors and majors. You will see maximum and minimum grade breakdowns for each in the registration pages. If there is a special need or question, please contact the person in charge of the particular group your child fits into. Please also direct any general questions about your group to these contacts and we will do the best we can to address them.
T-BALL: Gary Mitchell 449-6622
MINORS: Kelly Weist 429-8875

T-BALL-This league will focus on the basics of baseball. Teams will play each other. Lots of parent support is needed for this level during games and practices. Players will be pre-K to maximum grade 1.
MINORS- This league will be kid/coach pitch or machine pitch (there is no power at the Twisp field). There will no longer be a T available. Players will be a minimum grade 1 and maximum grade 4.
MAJORS-This league will be kid-pitch. There will be try-outs for those who want to play up in Grade 4, sign up for Majors and show up for Skills Day. This league will be minimum grade 4 and maximum grade 6. If you are a fourth grade parent and would like to have your child try out for Majors sign them up for Majors and come to the Majors skills day on Friday April 14th.
T-Ball has yet to determine a schedule.
Minors will practice Mondays and Wendesdays at both the Twisp and Winthrop Fields. Times are to be determined.
Majors will practice Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays. Times are to be determined once we have registrations and know numbers.
A few dates (these may change but we're hoping they stick!)

Majors skills day (open for grades 4, 5 and 6)- Friday April 14th from 6-7:30
We have an exciting new aspect to our program this year. Woodshed Ink, a new print shop owned by former LBHS graduate Bryan Putnam, will be designing logos for the MVYB program. Woodshed Ink has committed to a five year sponsorship of our youth baseball teams. Our uniforms and hats will all sport the new design and bring a fun, unique look to the teams. Fans and supporters will be able to purchase gear to support their little one's team, also. Equally exciting is that the MVYB program will now support a local business owner and his family.
Please be patient, the folks setting this all up are all volunteers with busy lives and are making a solid effort to get us on the field playing and having fun. There is lots to do to get our baseball league running including fundraising, web setup, registration processing, gear, uniforms and field scheduling. We need help, we really do, so please consider volunteering some of your time, it will really make a difference!
We are looking for coaches and folks to help out at all levels of play. We cannot get the teams on the field until we have coaches set (which defines alot about how fields get scheduled) so please let us know very soon!!
